Standing Seam Reroof for Industrial Facility

Dayton, Ohio
The Hardy Diagnostic reroof project involved the complete tear-off and replacement of the existing roof and insulation with a new Kirby SS360 roof system and vinyl back insulation. Covering 32,000 square feet, the work included replacing curbs and installing all new seals around pipes to ensure a weather-tight seal.

The original roof was an older snap-locked standing seam system that had persistent leaking issues and required a metal building erector for proper repair. To minimize disruption, all work was conducted at night, allowing the building to remain fully operational during the day. The building was secured against weather by the end of each workday, and the entire reroof was completed in three weeks. Unlike a retrofit, which installs membranes over an existing roof, this project involved a full tear-off and replacement.
